Tackle Your TBR Read-a-thon: My sign-up post and goals

August 1, 2017 Challenges 4

I’m signing up for the Tackle Your TBR Read-a-thon!

It runs from September 11 through Sept. 24, and is hosted by Tressa at Wishful Endings. Basically, you read whatever you want from your TBR pile, in any format you want. To participate and be eligible for the giveaways, you need to sign up using the linky, and do both a sign-up post and a wrap-up post. You can also post daily updates.

The Full Rules are on Tressa’s site, along with the Sign-Up linky.

My goal

is simply to read as many books as I can during that period. I have no idea what else I’ll have going on at that time, so I’m not setting a specific goal or picking a list of titles. (Heaven knows I have enough to choose from!) If some of them also qualify for The Backlist Reader Challengethat would be great.

What I’ve read so far (as of 9/17:)

  1. Body on Baker Street by Vicki Delany
  2. Snowspelled by Stephanie Burgis
  3. Tribute by Nora Roberts (not yet reviewed)
  4. Sugar Pine Trail by RaeAnne Thayne
  5. Second Chance Girl by Susan Mallery (not yet reviewed)

Schedule for the Read-a-thon:

This is the schedule for the read-a-thon, including challenges and giveaways (Tressa will be adding challenges as we get closer to the start date.)

9/11: Kick-Off with giveaways. Giveaways will include:

  • $15 Amazon gift card (INT)
  • Book of winner’s choice from their TBR (INT)
9/17: Twitter Chat (Twitter Chat will be from 8-9 PM EDT)
9/18: Mid-Point Check-In
9/24: Read-a-thon Ends (no challenge)
9/25: Wrap-Up (giveaway won’t close until the end of day to allow everyone to link up)

Five books down now! But I still need to review a few. And I’m in the middle of two more; should be able to finish at least one by the end of the readathon.
