November 12, 2017 Sunday Post 11

The Sunday Post is hosted by the wonderful Kimba, the Caffeinated Book Reviewer. It’s a chance to share news, recap the past week, take a look ahead, and showcase our new treasures—I mean books!

 My Week

Well, I’m still buried in indexing projects, trying to finish one this weekend so I can move on to the next (due next week.) Eep. Don’t expect to see me around the internet much for a week or two. I’ll resurface sometime during Thanksgiving week.

What I’m Reading/Watching

Reading: I finished reading Someone to Wed (Mary Balogh; ARC), reread an older Jayne Castle title, Orchid (don’t bother), and started in on my HoHoHo Readathon books. So far I’ve finished Holiday Wishes (Jill Shalvis; ARC) (review) and started the anthology A Christmas to Remember (ARC), which contains two stories I’ve read before.  I’m still reading Terminal Alliance (Jim C. Hines; ARC.)

Listening to: Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire. I’m a little past the Sorting.

Watching:  Not much, due to my work load. We did squeezed in another episode of Star Trek: Discovery, but we’re still an episode or two behind.

The HoHoHo Readathon runs from Nov. 8 through 15, 2017. It’s for holiday- and winter-themed books. My modest goal is 2 books. So far, I’ve read and reviewed 1.

Oh, you got some good-looking books! I need to check out your review of Holiday Wishes, and see what you thought.

      Good luck with the indexing!

I spent last night watching holiday Hallmark films, which is fun. I like the Christmas Hallmark films the best. 🙂 Good on you for reading one Readathon book already! I just got started today and I’m about halfway through. I don’t know if I’ll get more than one read or not but we’ll see!

Sounds like you’re still plenty busy. Hope you get a break soon! Nice job on keeping your readathon goal realistic. 🙂 I remember Little Witch from when I was a little girl. So nostalgic. Hope you have a good week!
