WIP Wednesday – 10/10/2018

October 10, 2018 WIP Wednesday 2

WIP Wednesday (for “Work In Progress”) is a meme where we share our current fibery projects. It was started by Nicole @ Book-Wyrm-Knits, who also reviews books at book-wyrm-reads

It’s been ages since my last WIP Wednesday post. I was away so much in September that I didn’t get a lot done, but I’ve tried to make time for knitting or spinning every day since the beginning of October—usually while listening to an audiobook, or watching a TV show with Mr. Bookwyrm.

Spinning

I started a new spinning project, using 8 oz. of Bambino fiber in the Duckle Daisy colorway — soft pinkish mauves and purples.  I’m almost finished spinning the second bobbin of singles, so I’ll probably be able to ply it all by next Wednesday.

Knitting

I finished the first of my Hermione’s Not-So-Everyday Socks, and cast on the second. (Yarn: KnitPicks Stroll Multi in the Paisley colorway.)

I haven’t worked on my secret knitting project at all, so I still have only about 35% of it completed. I’ll be working on that this week.

Do you knit, spin, crochet, or do other arts or craftwork? Tell me about your latest project!
