HoHoHo Readathon Wrap-up (#HoHoHoRAT)

HoHoHo Holiday Read-a-Thon

My goal for the Ho-Ho-Ho Read-a-thon was to read 5 Christmas-themed books in 5 days, and I came close — I managed to get through 4 of them, despite working on an index and having some other stuff going on.

  • Candlelight Christmas (Susan Wiggs) – finished!
  • Christmas in Snowflake Canyon (RaeAnn Thayne) – Review
  • A Fool’s Gold Christmas (Susan Mallery) – finished!
  • Christmas on 4th Street (Susan Mallery) – finished!

The read-a-thon was sponsored by Kimba at Caffeinated Book Reviewer and Jennifer @ Bawdy Book Blog – thank you, ladies, it was a lot of fun!  Also thanks to the folks who sponsored challenges.  I especially enjoyed the word scramble (there were three I just could not get!) and the Christmas picture book cover puzzles.  The whole thing was great for getting me in the pre-holiday mood.

I’ll post links to reviews as they go up; I’m saving some of them for closer to Christmas.

Thanks for the suggestions for holiday reading. I am going to look for one or two of these to read in December 🙂
