April 18, 2021 Sunday Post 5

The Sunday Post is hosted by the wonderful Kimberly, the Caffeinated Book Reviewer. It’s a chance to share news, recap the past week, take a look ahead, and showcase our new treasures—I mean books!

This Week

I participated in an online play reading last Sunday — Twelfth Night, in which I played Viola/Cesario. It was a lot of fun! One of our nieces, a theatre nerd (like me, back in the day!) and fellow Shakespeare afficionado, joined in as Maria, and did a great job.

Despite the index, I managed to squeeze out enough time for a mini-celebration of Johannes Gutenberg and a News & Notes post this week. Now if I can just get some of these reviews written….

What I’m Reading/Watching

Reading: I finished rereading Storm Rising and started Storm Breaking. I’ve got to find more time to read—I’ve fallen way behind on my Goodreads challenge.

Listening to: Just a few podcasts: Wait Wait Don’t Tell Me; The SheepSpot Podcast; Twenty Thousand Hertz; and Smart Bitches, Trashy Podcast.

Watching:

Playing: Carcassonne, Merge Magic, DragonVale, Pokemon Go, the NYT daily crossword and two of their other games, but not every day.

Oh that’s fun! and Dragonvale is a hit around here too. 🙂

How are you enjoying Lackey’s books?

Oh how funny! I picked up The Key of Light this week too! I really like the trilogy but for some reason only kept Key of Knowledge (which is my favorite) but I fixed that this week. Both the Heather Grahams look amazing – love seeing Jackson Square on the cover of The Unforgiven and I’m curious about Fatality with Forster. Have a great week!
