I turned in my really long index, and started on the next. I may finally have broken my reading slump of the past month. And I’ve also written my first review in months! Plus, I finished knitting a shawlette from my handspun yarn; once it’s blocked, I’ll post photos.

What I’m Reading/Watching
Reading: I finished rereading Storm Breaking. I think I may finally have broken my reading slump, because I read both Death Below Stairs (Jennifer Ashley) and Jackaby (William Ritter) for the COYER Book Club, which meets this afternoon. After I finished those, I read A Soupçon of Poison, the prequel to Death Below Stairs, then started The Unforgiven (ARC) by Heather Graham.
Listening to: A fair few podcasts: Wait Wait Don’t Tell Me; The SheepSpot Podcast; Imaginary Worlds; Smart Bitches, Trashy Podcast; Tea and Strumpets; and Side Door.
Watching: We started a series called Undiscovered Vistas on the Smithsonian Channel (through Paramount+.) So far we have seen three episodes on Newfoundland’s Gros Morne National Park, Chile’s Atacama Desert, and Bolivia’s Altiplano. We enjoy documentaries, and they are about the only way we can travel right now! We also watched another episode of Warehouse 13.
Playing: Carcassonne, Merge Magic, DragonVale, Pokemon Go, the NYT daily crossword (but not every day) and their Spelling Bee.

So glad you’ve gotten out of your reading slump! I picked up the Key trilogy from Nora Roberts to read while I haven’t been feeling great and am reading a cozy that I’m loving and am finally really gaining some reading traction which is great! I need to read that prequel to the Jennifer Ashley series. It’s one of my favorites! I hope you have a great week!

I’m looking forward to reading more of the Jennifer Ashley series. I’m sorry you aren’t feeling great, but Nora Roberts is often a really good pick-me-up. I love the Key trilogy; I hope you enjoy reading or rereading it. And I hope you feel better!
