Last Week
In an alternate timeline, I would be at Maryland Sheep and Wool this weekend, but of course, the coronavirus has forced the cancellation of all large gatherings, including fiber festivals. Instead, I’m at home, plugging away at an index and doing a little spinning for a fibery “fix.” Mr. Bookwyrm has also been working hard this week.

What I’m Reading/Watching
Reading: I finished rereading The Moon-Spinners by Mary Stewart and went on to Madam, Will You Talk? and Airs Above The Ground (one of my favorites!) by the same author. And I read one of my stack of library books, Love Lettering (Kate Clayborn), which I loved so much, I bought the Kindle edition. I also started Murder in Waiting by Lynn Cahoon (ARC.)

Listening: I finished Harry Potter and the Prisoner of Azkaban last night, so I’ll be starting Goblet of Fire this week.
Watching: We started season 4 of Warehouse 13. A few weeks ago, I was watching the Lord Peter Wimsey series starring Ian Carmichael, and meant to go on to Five Red Herrings, but I still haven’t gotten to it.

I have only read a couple of Mary Stewart’s books – I need to track down more of her output. And I have also set myself the target of catching up the Benedict Jacka series this year, too.

I have been buying so many ebooks lately… they have certainly been a haven! 🙂
I’m also trying to not think about what I would be doing in the alternate timeline. (Spoiler: I would be currently flying to Disney World for an anniversary vacation with Mr. Wyrm.) Thinking about “what should have been” is too depressing. I like your idea of getting the spinning wheel out, though. I’ve been doing lots of knitting, but haven’t done any spinning for a while.

I’m not sure where I’d be in the alternate timeline but definitely not having stayed home for the last 6 weeks! It has proven that I really am an introvert as is the rest of my family though! I got the Hannah Dennison too and am so excited! I loved her previous series and am looking forward to seeing where this one goes. Have a great week!

Honestly, I do spend a lot of my time at home even when we’re not under stay-at-home orders, but I do miss my choruses, church, and the occasional get-together with a friend.
I can’t wait to read the new Hannah Dennison, for the same reasons you mention! I hope it’s just as good as the last series.
