10 Books with SECRET in the Title

October 22, 2019 Top Ten Tuesday 9

Top Ten Tuesday is a weekly feature/meme now hosted by That Artsy Reader Girl. The meme was originally the brainchild of The Broke and the Bookish. This week’s topic was Books I’d Give Different Titles To, but I decided to do a different prompt instead.

Today’s prompt didn’t work for me, so I decided to use a different prompt I had seen elsewhere: books with “Secret” in the title. All of these are books I have read and enjoyed; most are books I have read more than once. Rather than try to rank them, I’ve simply listed them in alphabetical order by author. (Click title to view on Goodreads, or to read my review.)

And a few extras as a bonus! The first two I have read and liked; the rest are from my TBR list.

Do you have any “Secret” favorites I should add to my TBR? Please share them in the comments!

The first title that popped into my head was The Secret Garden. I remember loving it as a kid, and the movie was good too

When I saw the title of your post, I immediately thought of The Secret of the Old Clock! I loved those books when I was a kid.

What a great twist! I just finished The Secret History, so that springs to mind for me. 🙂

    Here’s my TTT!

Great list of books – I’ve read three of them:). I’m intrigued by The Secret Adversary as I don’t think I’ve read that one and I have read a lot of Christie’s books.

It’s the first Tommy and Tuppence novel &mdash as much spy thriller as murder mystery. It’s one of my favorite Christie novels. The TV adaptation starring James Warwick and Francesca Annis is really good.
