Top Ten Tuesday is a weekly feature/meme now hosted by That Artsy Reader Girl. The meme was originally the brainchild of The Broke and the Bookish. This week’s topic is Best Books I Read In 2018.

 

While some of these were published in 2018, others are older titles I had not read before. They are broken down by rating: 5 stars and 4.5 stars.  I also included two of my 5-star rereads at the bottom of the post.

    I love Susanna Kearsley’s books, too, although I still need to read Bellewether. Here’s to a happy year of reading in 2019! I hope it’s a great year for you in every possible way. 😀

      Bellewether is lovely, though I missed the Jacobites of Kearsley’s last few books. I wish you a wonderful year, too — in reading and in “real life”!

    Susanna Kearsley is high on my To Read list so I’m thrilled to see so many of her books on your list. I really love the sound of Bellewether so I think that’s the one I’m going to start with. I really need to read more of the Charles Finch series and I’m so far behind on Lisa Kleypas!

      I’ve fallen in love with Susanna Kearsley’s books! I plan to read more of them this year. I still have a few of the Charles Finch series to finish, too. But I’m mostly caught up with Kleypas, except a few backlist titles that didn’t appeal to me all that much.

    I read Susanna Kearsley for the first time this year, and I am in love! The Winter Sea was incredible; Bellewether and The Shadowy Horses are on my TBR.

    Several of these books are on my TBR (Nice Dragons Finish Last, East, and The Calculating Stars especially) but I haven’t read any of them yet. I’m glad you had so many good books to choose from!

      Thanks, Kathy! I’m caught up on Quinn (mostly), but need to catch up on Dare and Kearsley. Luckily, I have nearly all of Kearsley’s books. 🙂

      Kearsley’s books are wonderful. Besides these four, I’ve also read A Desperate Fortune and Named of the Dragon (reviewed here.) And I’ve been lucky enough to go to three of her signings.
