I really thought I would read Time’s Convert as soon as I got it, but you know how it is—you have ARCs that need to be read and then you get distracted by other books. Hopefully this spring… The new Lisa Kleypas series is good; I’ve been enjoying them. I hope you get a chance to read them!

Ny spring TBR would be almost exclusively books I have owned for FOREVER and haven’t managed to read yet – not even trying to keep up with new releases these days. I do really like Lisa Kleypas though, so I might have to add that one 🙂

Book tangents: the story of my life! I can’t stick to a reading list/plan to save my life—hence why some of the older books are still on my list. I do want to read all these this spring. But I’m such a mood reader that I probably won’t get to all of them. I’ll try to get to all the ARCs, at least.

Those are some great books! I really want to get to the Veronica Speedwell mysteries, but I have the first one as an ebook, where my reading speed tends to be slower (purely because I prefer to pick up a physical book). Soon, maybe! My spring TBR includes some Pratchett and books 4 & 5 in Seanan McGuire’s October Daye series.

I really like the Veronica Speedwell books (what a great name for a lepidopterist, too!) And one of these days, I swear I will read some Pratchett and the October Daye series, or maybe the InCryptid series.

Both the October Daye and the InCryptid series are a lot of fun! I have to admit, though, I prefer the InCryptid books for the sole fact that I love the Aeslin Mice.

If you haven’t read Beverly Jenkins, her books are worth reading: well-written and well-researched historical romance featuring characters of color. They fill in some of the history we didn’t get in school (which in my day pretty much ignored African Americans except when discussing slavery or the Civil Rights movement, as though they didn’t exist outside those narratives.)

You’ve got a really great collection of reads to get into. I enjoy Nancy Harkness, who I found out about after winning one of her books. I don’t have the book, but I still need to watch Fantastic Beasts too. I used to read Heather Graham a lot because she’s a great author, but it’s been awhile since I’ve picked up one of her books. RO, did you mean Deborah Harkness, or is Nancy Harkness someone different whose books I should check out? As for Graham, I haven’t read all her books, but on the whole, I like the Krewe of Hunters series.
