  1. Alleyne

I’ve read The Calculating Stars (and The Fated Stars) and Spinning Silver. All excellent. Started Time’s Convert this morning.

  2. Anne@Headfullofbooks

I just read THE GIRL WHO DRANK THE MOON and loved it. Enjoy! I read these lists and I start to panic. There are so many books out there that I haven’t even heard of and now I want to look into them. But my TBR is already over 100 books long. If I just read them it would take me over a year to finish the list without adding new titles (which I do all the time.) Eek! My Fall TBR list

I feel for you. My Goodreads want-to-read list is pushing 1000 books at this point. 🙁 I need to prune it, but I seriously don’t have the time.

  3. Nicole

That is a lot of books! And they all look so fun. I have several on my TBR list as well.

I’m curious to see how Gigi does with the Pern books. I didn’t like Todd’s additions, but I’d be happy to revisit Pern with fewer… problem issues than were in the originals, if the writing in Gigi’s books is any good. (I love Anne’s Pern. But there were some problematic relationships in her original books.)

I couldn’t get into Todd’s books, either. For one thing, they sometimes diverged from Anne’s worldbuilding, as well as from what we know of the pre-Dragonflight timeline. I’m hoping Gigi does better.

  4. Literary Feline

A dream list! I want to read all of these! I have had a copy of The Girl Who Drank the Moon on my TBR pile for way too long. And Time’s Convert! I am so excited about that one. I hope you get to all of these and love them.

    • Lark_Bookwyrm

Ditto here; I’ve had The Girl Who Drank the Moon on my Kindle since the year it came out, I think. And Time’s Convert will be a good October read, I hope!

  5. Esther

I tried reading Spinning Silver, but I was distracted by life, sadly.
I read it on Kindle and it didn’t feel right. I have been swooooning over that amazing cover, and YAY! I got the book for my birthday, so I hope to read that one too 🙂

Sometimes the format you read a book in really does make a difference. I find longer books easier in print than in Kindle, for some reason.

  6. Angela

Ah, The Forgotten Garden! So good! Kate Morton has a new book coming out in a couple weeks that I’m also excited for.

    • Lark_Bookwyrm

My mom gave me The Forgotten Garden for Christmas, and I’ve heard so many good things about it, but I just haven’t gotten around to it yet. Hopefully this fall…

  7. Lark

Love your list! The Hollow of Fear and Someone to Trust both look really good. And of course, I can’t wait to read Spinning Silver and The Calculating Stars.

  8. Barb (boxermommyreads)

I plan on starting Hollow of Fear after my current read. I love that series so much and can’t wait. So glad to have an arc as well. Lots of great books here and I see some new-to-me ones I need to look into.

  9. Sophie

Many are on my list and among others The Darkest Star by Jennifer L Armentrout! Enjoy all your reads (looking to your review of Renegades 😉 )

  10. Katherine @ I Wish I Lived in a Library

Yes pretty much to all except for Read and Gone and The Forgotten Garden but that’s only because I’ve already read them! I really enjoyed Read and Gone though I wanted to shake Carrie a time or two and The Forgotten Garden was my first Kate Morton. I hope you love them all!

  11. Lola

Great lists and you have some pretty cover sin here. And I like how many cozies you listed, I always feel that cozies are great for fall reading for some reason. The cover for The Girl with the Dragon heart is very pretty!

I know you meant “covers in”, but I found myself wondering what “cover sin” would be LOL! I do enjoy cozy mysteries, if they aren’t too formulaic. The ones I included are series I’ve enjoyed in the past. And yes, the Girl With the Dragon Heart has a beautiful cover. (I like the British version slightly better, but they are both wonderful.)

  12. Northwoman

The only ARC we have in common is Hot Winter Nights by Jill Shalvis. I have listened to The Calcualting Stars and really enjoyed it. Now I want to read The Fated Sky. I also listened to and loved Spinning Silver. Renegades looks interesting to me but I haven’t read the first book. I’m sure I would enjoy many of the others. It’s always so hard to narrow it down and choose. Enjoy! Anne – Books of My Heart

    • Lark_Bookwyrm

Oh, I’m glad you enjoyed The Calculating Stars! And also Spinning Silver. Renegades is the first book in its series; I got it for Christmas last year and just haven’t made time to read it. There’s a sequel coming out this fall (or maybe out already?) It’s really hard to fit in all the books I want to read!

  13. Stephanie@Fairday's Blog

Looks like you have lots of great books to read and some awesome ones you’d like to read this fall. I read and loved The Girl Who Drank the Moon. I hope you enjoy it too. 🙂
