Challenges
These are the books I read for various challenges, but I have not written or posted all the reviews yet, so they won’t all show up on my 2022 Challenges tracking page. All title links go to my reviews.
Goodreads Challenge 2022: 18 books in April (titles listed above.) I have read 70 books so far this year, which puts me 13 books ahead of schedule as of May 1.
22 in 2022: 1 book (Index, a History of The)
Audiobook Challenge 2022: 2 books (Index, a History of The; The Secret Adversary.) I made progress on Frogkisser! but have not finished it yet.
The Backlist Reader Challenge 2022: 1 book (The Lady’s Guide to Celestial Mechanics)
COYER Spring 2022: 6 books (Three Tales of Gabe & Rathna; Complementary; Shadow in the Glass; The Secret Adversary; A Perilous Perspective; The Shadow of Memory; The Lady’s Guide to Celestial Mechanics)
Library Love 2022: 1 book (The Secret Adversary)
Read Christie 2022: 1 books (The Secret Adversary.) The suggested book for April was Why Didn’t They Ask Evans, but I had already reread that back in January. Since the theme was “featuring adventure,” I figured The Secret Adversary was a good substitute. Like Why Didn’t They Ask Evans?, it features a pair of young adventurers.

A good reading month with plenty of mystery and a lot of historical settings.
Wendy
Wow, you sure had a great month of reading. And you’re doing well on your challenges.

Ooh, I love all the rereading you did!

That’s a lot of reading! I’m not surprised to see so many Valdemar books there, though. I have a VERY hard time reading just one Valdemar book (or series) at a time, so when I read them it generally takes over my whole month of reading, too. 😉
