The Sunday Post is hosted by the wonderful Kimberly, the Caffeinated Reviewer. It’s a chance to share news, recap the past week, take a look ahead, and showcase our new treasures—I mean books!

This week I’m also participating in The Sunday Salon hosted by Deb at Readerbuzz, and Stacking the Shelves hosted by Marlene at Reading Reality.
Last Week
In real life: I flew home Tuesday, and jumped right back into life with three medical appointments in as many days. I have several more scheduled next week. Nothing serious, mostly just routine check-ins with various specialists; they all piled up because I so busy early in the summer, and then I was gone for a month.
Saturday was Worldwide Spin in Public Day. I spent the afternoon spinning in a park in our nearest small city. I was joined by another of the spinners in our fiber group, and had a really nice time talking with her.

What I’ve Been Reading/Watching

Reading: I read Role Playing by Cathy Yardley, for the Recommend Me a Book readathon for COYER. (Thank you for the rec, Lenore!) I finished rereading The Hare and the Oak by Celia Lake, and continued the binge with Upon a Summer’s Day and Bound for Perdition; I’m currently rereading Sailor’s Jewel. (I don’t know why I am obsessed with this series, but I am.) I read a little further in Claws and Contrivances by Stephanie Burgis and also Anything with Nothing, a Valdemar anthology that includes a novella by Mercedes Lackey (both books are ARCs.)
Listening to: I continued with Shattered by Kevin Hearne, but since I was trying to finish it before today, I alternated listening and reading the Kindlebook. And I listened to an interview with author Mimi Matthews on the Smart Bitches Trashy Podcast.
Playing: three NYT games (Wordle, Spelling Bee, and Connections), plus a fair bit of Pokemon Go. (Airports are great for Pokemon Go, and I had to go into town three days this week, so…)
Watching: The second half of season two of Strange New Worlds.

Anne - Books of My Heart
I bet it’s good to be home. I love traveling especially when I can see family or friends but it’s most comfortable at home. Shattered was a good entry. I’m looking forward to Staked. This week I will be caught up enough to read some recommended books for the COYER RAT.
