The Sunday Post is a meme sponsored by the wonderful Kimba, the Caffeinated Book Reviewer. It’s a chance to share news. A post to recap the past week, showcase books and things we have received and share news about what is coming up for the week on our blog.
I’m still working hard on the the index, but the end is getting closer. More importantly, Robin comes home tonight! She’ll be here for almost a week, on spring break. I can’t wait!
On the blogging side of things, a meh week, since I had almost no time for anything but working. OTOH, I did get a bunch of new goodies for my Kindle… What was that resolution about cutting back, exactly? Maybe I should have given up acquiring new books for Lent.
On second thought, definitely not. 😉
Last week on the blog:

I picked up Splintered last week! I am so excited it is so cheap this month on Amazon!
Lark @ The Bookwyrm's Hoard
Me too! I want to reread it before I read Unhinged, and the library wanted their copy back, so I grabbed it.
Herding Cats - Burning Soup
OOo all kinds of pretties. I picked up the Novak one too. Love Bella Andre and Maggie Shayne. What nice gifties to get!
Lark @ The Bookwyrm's Hoard
Just looking at all those covers makes me smile.

WOW, fantastic book week! I got the books for entering the Lucky Charms giveaway too and I got Murder at Honeychurch Hall.
Good luck finishing up the indexing.
Lark @ The Bookwyrm's Hoard
I love British mysteries, so I have high hopes for Murder at Honeychurch Hall.
Thanks for the good wishes; I need them!

You got some great books this last week! So happy for you that Robin is getting home this evening. Have a wonderful week with her and hope you get your indexing project done soon.
Lark @ The Bookwyrm's Hoard
I can’t wait to see her. Just wish I didn’t have to work while she’s home. But it will be so good to have her here.

When the library said they wanted Scarlet back and I was only half-way through!, I figured I would just bite the bullet and buy it. I already have Cinder for Kindle, so I guess I’ve committed to getting the whole set. 🙂

I have so many free Kindle books right now that I think I’ll never get around to them all … and yet I keep downloading them. 🙂 Looks like you had a great week!
Jessica @ Tales Between the Pages
Lark @ The Bookwyrm's Hoard
I know exactly what you mean. I’m not picking up as many freebies any more, but I do jump on bargains when it’s a book I know I’ll enjoy, or have enjoyed and would like to read again.
Jenea Whittington
Lots of great books. Happy reading.

Great haul! So many pretty books. I hope you enjoy them all.
Have a great week
Lark @ The Bookwyrm's Hoard
Several days into Lent and I don’t quite know what I’m giving up… but I’m trying to make it procrastinating. (I’m being ironic, but truthful.)
Enjoy your week, Michelle!

The silence of the library – the title cracks me up, mine is never really silent ! Have a nice sunday and love your dragon banner, by the way 🙂
Lark @ The Bookwyrm's Hoard
I know; ours isn’t either. But it looks like a great mystery.
I’m glad you like the dragon banner! That’s my bookwyrm shelf-sitter. He moves from room to room periodically. Right now he’s sitting by my Anne McCaffrey Pern novels; they’re about dragons so I figured he’d be happy there.

River Road must be good if it kept you up late! Love it when books do that- unless I have to get up early the next day! 🙂
The Jessica Day George books look cute, we enjoy her stuff (what we’ve read) around here. Oath of Fealty looks good, too, I’ve heard of the Paks stories but never read them.
