Gilded sounds interesting – I love a good retelling! I’ll be looking forward to your thoughts on that.
Lark_Bookwyrm
Thanks! It may be a while, as I don’t have an ARC.
Lydia
I really need to read Six Crimson Cranes sometime!

It sounds wonderful, and the cover is gorgeous. I’m really looking forward to starting it!

All the Feels was cute and well done. I liked the way the author dealt with the issues of body positivity and the realities of adults with ADHD. Didn’t read the first one in the series but may give it a read.
Lark_Bookwyrm
If you liked the body positivy in All the Feels, you should definitely read Spoiler Alert. I reviewed it about a week ago, here.
Lori @ fifty-two
That Gilded cover is amazeballs.

Thanks! I like the sound of that one, too. I loved her Lunar Chronicles.

I really liked Addie LaRue. I hope you enjoy it!

That’s good to know. Me too!
Cheri @ All In Good Time
I’ve been wanting to check out Olivia Dade’s writing. Her books look like they’re right up my alley.

I certainly enjoyed Spoiler Alert!

The Kearsley book seems to be popping up lately and ooh is that a new Riordan? I love the underwater vibe!

I just finished the Kearsley last night; it is wonderful! And yes, that’s a new Riordan: a retelling of 20,000 Leagues Under the Sea. Can’t wait! I might have to reread the Verne novel first, though. I don’t think I have read it since high school, though I read it multiple times in middle school.
Greg
That’s exciting about the Riordan book!

IKR?!
Susan (Bloggin' 'bout Books)
Oooh, the Hyde series looks really fun. I hadn’t heard of it before now, so thanks for the heads-up!
Happy TTT (on a Wednesday)!

If you like contemporary cozies in the Christie vein (i.e., more traditional, rather than humorous or whimsical), it’s definitely a good series!
Lark
Scales and Sensibility looks like a lot of fun. And I love Susannah Kearsley, so I’m always up for a new book by her. Great list! 😀

If you loved The Winter Sea, The Vanished Days ties in to it. Side characters include members of the Moray and Graeme families, and Sophia makes a very brief appearance as a child. There’s also a brief tie-in to Bellewether. Now I’m feeling like I need to go reread a bunch of Kearsley’s books—at least the Scottish series!
Lisa @ Bookshelf Fantasies
I’m looking forward to All the Feels too! I really liked the first book. I loved Addie LaRue — hope you enjoy it!
Lark_Bookwyrm
I hope I can get to it this fall! I meant to read it last spring.
Katherine
Katherine Bolger Hyde’s series is on my TBR and I really need to pick up more Balogh. I tried to dip my toe back into historical romance with the Sabrina Jeffries book and it set me back a bit. You were right about Olivia being annoying too – I was just so annoyed by Thorn I couldn’t focus on anyone else!
Lark_Bookwyrm
Jeffries is hit or miss for me. Balogh is almost always a solid 4 or 5, but I know her use of more formal, Heyer-esque dialog puts some people off.
Suzanne @ The Bookish Libra
The Kearsley book is on my list as well. I didn’t realize until I did my post that it’s tied to another book of hers that I haven’t read yet. Oops.
Lark_Bookwyrm
I think all her books can stand on their own, but it’s fun to see characters turn up here and there in other books.
Nicole @ BookWyrm Knits
I love your list! I’m hoping to read The Raven Heir soon too, and I WILL be reading Scales and Sensibility as soon as my pre-order comes in!
