Books have the power to change lives. And even cultures.
This is a generation raised on Harry, Hermione, and Ron; on Katniss Everdeen; on Keladry of Mindelan, Linh Cinder, and countless other young heroes and heroines making a difference in a world gone badly awry.
Of course they are speaking up, and speaking out.

Thanks! I love that tweet. The OP is a teacher or librarian, I think at the high school level.

Oh. Oooohh. This makes so much sense. (And for the record, I am so proud of our country’s teens for seeing an issue and taking a stand. We adults could learn a lesson from that.)

I love this tweet! I read another one that said something like “I’m joining whatever political party the kids in Florida just started.”
