I’m signing up for COYER Unwind, Chapter 4

The Fall chapter of COYER Unwind runs from October 1 through December 31, 2024. You can read about COYER Unwind generally here, and click this link to sign up for Chapter 4 – Fall.

My goal is to read and review 5 books between October 1 and December 31. Just like last time, I’m emphasizing review because that tends to be where I fail these challenges: I will read more than enough books to meet my goal, but I don’t get around to reviewing them. So for me, the goal specifically includes reviewing at least six books. I drop the number down to 5 because I failed the Summer challenge pretty badly.

The rules (condensed and interpreted)

Note: you can read the all the rules with full explanations on the sign-up page for the Fall chapter.

  1. Format doesn’t matter. You can read ebooks, audiobooks, or physical books.
  2. Books must be free, or nearly free. Free books include ARCs and other review copies as well as library books or books you borrow from a friend, but not books from a subscription service like Kindle Unlimited or Audible Plus. However, Amazon Prime reads do count. “Nearly free” means under $4.99 for ebooks, and under $7.49 for audiobooks.
  3. Announce your participation on a blog post (or on Goodreads or social media if you don’t have a blog.)
  4. Link up that specific post (not just your blog homepage) to the linky on the sign-up page at Because Reading.
  5. Review books and link your reviews. Your review may be on your blog, Goodreads, etc. Link the review to the Review Linky (the same linky is used all year, using the format described on the Review Linky page.
  6. Follow & share reviews on Social Media. Use #COYER on your posts and look for posts with the hashtag.
  7. Visit Each Other, Chat & Have Fun.
