Ever link this week is enjoyable!
About reading to sleep, how many parents can attest to the fact that while snuggling with a child and reading a nighttime story that they themselves nodded off or felt sleepy? When I went back to college a decade ago our Psych. professor tried an experiment with the class to hypnotize/lull to sleep as many as possible. I actually got very drowsy!
And I’m all for unplugging from social media (don’t hardly participate anymore) but I still could never a dozen books in a week! 🙂 Happy New Year to your family!

Mr. Bookwyrm used to fall asleep while I was reading to Robin before bedtime. Robin, of course, never did! 🙂

Wow there are lots of challenges out there.
Also I don’t watch tv but do spend too much time online I guess but I am not sure I could read 12 books in a week or at least not if I get anything else accomplished. Anne – Books of My Heart

There are way more challenges than I could possibly do! But I think it’s great that GirlXOXO publishes a list of them… though I know there are more that aren’t on the list.
I think the woman who read 12 books in a week spent that week in a cabin and didn’t do anything BUT read (and keep the fire going.) I’m not sure I could do it at home, unless I were sick. (Come to think of it, I have read that many books in a week when I’ve been sick, but most of them were fiction, and pretty fast reading.)
