That LitHub article on Hillbilly Elegy is a really well-reasoned piece about how indie bookstores can operate. And so, of course, there are some people in the comments (willfully) ignoring the whole point of the piece and instead crying censorship. Sometimes I can’t stand people.
Also, I like the LitHub list of books better than the NYT one. Though I guess that’s probably no surprise, since there’s more genre fiction on there.
