The Sunday Post is hosted by the wonderful Kimba, the Caffeinated Book Reviewer. It’s a chance to share news, recap the past week, take a look ahead, and showcase our new treasures—I mean books!
My Week
Today is the concert! I’m excited and of course a little nervous, as always. But we had a really good rehearsal yesterday, and I know they are going to sound wonderful!
Because of the concert, I won’t be around at all today. And because of all the work I need to get done this week, I won’t be around much for the rest of the week, either. I hope to catch up on visits and comments next weekend and the following week.
For all you mothers out there, I wish you a very happy Mother’s Day!

What I’m Reading/Watching
What I Should Be Reading: I’m partway through Murder on the Flying Scotsman, a Daisy Dalrymple mystery by Carola Dunn (ARC), Someone to Care by Mary Balogh (ARC), and The Underwater Ballroom (anthology ARC). But true to form, when I’m under a lot of pressure, I revert to rereading…
What I’m Actually (Re)Reading: the Celta Heartmate series by Robin D. Owens. I’ve reread (OK, I skimmed bits of them) the first four: Heartmate, Heart Thief, Heart Duel, and Heart Choice. (image not linked)
Listening to: I’ve been relistening to Tamora Pierce’s Protector of the Small series, and have made a little progress on Lady Knight this week.
Watching: We watched one Father Brown episode as well as For the Love of Spock, Adam Nimoy’s exploration of the character of Spock and tribute to his father.

I’ll be interested to see what you think of the Robin D. Owens books. I didn’t get into this series, but I really liked some of the books in her Ghost series Anne – Books of My Heart

I’ve read the whole series once before, and the first seven books twice, so I must like them! I’ll have to check out the Ghost series—thanks for the recommendation!

Happy Mother’s Day! I’m sure the concert was amazing! I’m struggling with reading right now so a good reread sounds perfect. Hope you’re having a great week!

It went really well, thank you! I’m scrambling to finish an indexing project (it’s Saturday night, which tells you how hard I’ve been working!) and hoping I can catch up on the blog in the next few weeks. I have a ton of reviews I need to write.
Nicci @ Sunny Buzzy Books
Oh man, I used to LOVE the Celtica series! It’s been too long since I visited that world.

I’m enjoying the reread… though I’m debating skipping Heart Journey. That one didn’t really work for me.
