The Sunday Post is hosted by the wonderful Kimberly, the Caffeinated Book Reviewer. It’s a chance to share news, recap the past week, take a look ahead, and showcase our new treasures—I mean books!
Last Week
It’s been a busy week, but I don’t seem to be getting as much done as I would like. I lost most of a day to a specialist appointment about an hour and twenty minutes away. (I’m OK.) I had fun at the monthly Spinners and Weavers Guild meeting, which combined the usual meeting with a nice potluck brunch and a sale by some of the members. I didn’t mean to buy anything, but of course I got some fiber for spinning and some yarn, all at bargain prices.
But alas, I still haven’t had time to get the post-scheduling issue fixed! Hopefully this week, once I get the index turned in.
Tomorrow (Monday) is #ReadForGrace day. I’ll be working all day and well into the night, but I hope to read at least a little of one of the books from her TBR list, between tonight and tomorrow night.

What I’m Reading/Watching
Reading: I finished rereading Blood Magick. I also finished Read and Buried by Eva Gates (who also writes as Vicki Delany), Under Currents by Nora Roberts, and Once a Spy by Mary Jo Putney. (Click titles for review or Goodreads links.)
Listening: I finished A Natural History of Dragons by Marie Brennan, and I’m trying to figure out how to listen to the next one. Neither of my nearby libraries has it, and my card for my other library (in my parents’ town) isn’t working.
Watching: We finished up the new Ken Burns documentary, Country Music. It’s very good, especially if you like country music, but also if you like delving into music’s history and the myriad ways that various forms of (American) music are interconnected. Now we’re watching season 5 of Eureka.

I hate how often it seems that busy weeks mean we get nothing done. Here’s hoping this week is more productive!
Child of a Hidden Sea sounds like so much fun! I think I’ll have to look for that one.

I’m with you on busy weeks but not getting as much as you’d like done… I feel like I never stop at the moment but the to do list is never going down!
Adulting sucks.
I’ll be trying to read a little for Grace too. Although, it’s evening now and I still haven’t gotten around to picking up a book to do so! Maybe before bed…
Anne - Books of My Heart
Well I was on the road all day for 4 of the last 5 days and you really don’t get anything done, well except audiobooks. I’m so exhausted but I still hope to do a bunch this week. I wish you a great productive and fun week with some balance. Happy reading!
