The Sunday Post is hosted by the wonderful Kimba, the Caffeinated Book Reviewer. It’s a chance to share news, recap the past week, take a look ahead, and showcase our new treasures—I mean books!
My Week
I’ve been totally swamped this week (I know, sounds familiar, right?) and did not even have time to finish up my News & Notes post, so you’ll have to wait until next week for those links. Besides work (a fascinating and very fact-filled book), I’ve been getting ready for the first rehearsal for my choruses’ spring concert. Rehearsals start this afternoon, and I’ll be working before and after that and well into the week, so please forgive me if it takes me a while to visit and answer your comments.

What I’m Reading/Watching
Reading: I’ve had very little time for reading anything but the book I’m indexing. I finished rereading Exile’s Valor (Mercedes Lackey, from my collection) and started rereading the Arrows of the Queen trilogy by the same author. And I made a little progress on my previously-interrupted reads: Cat of the Baskervilles (ARC), The Problim Children (ARC) and A Scandal in Batersea (library.)
Listening to: I’m 37% through Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince (a re-listen.)
Watching: I think we managed to squeeze in half an episode of Father Brown season 5 this week. Mr. Bookwyrm has been working a lot of late hours, too.

I totally feel you on the busy. I am playing catch up this weekend and it’s not working. I have so much to do and no time to do it all. I hope this week slows down for you. Good luck with your rehearsals, I always think that is awesome that you do that. 🙂
Have a great week, Lark! Happy Reading! 🙂

I feel swamped, too. Just with life in general. I was going to get so many things done today…and that didn’t happen. Oh, well. There’s always this week, right?

Too bad you’re so busy, but I guess with your job you have swamped and paused, and nothing in between 🙂 Thanks for posting. Glad you’re enjoying your rereads, re-listens.

I hear you on the busy. I’ve been okay this month, but next month is going to be crazy for me. I’ve been trying to get things prepared, but I still know I’ll be slow on replies and comments in March. Oh well.
Also, you’ve reminded me how much I love some of the Valdemar books. I want to go back and re-read them now… but again, they have to wait because no time. Oh well. On the TBR list they go!

I’m sorry to hear how busy you are but hopefully you’re finding some time to read with all the work and rehearsals! The Mercedes Lackey is on my TBR. I want to read more fantasy and I like the Holmes-y twist on this one. Have a great week!
