The Sunday Post is hosted by the wonderful Kimba, the Caffeinated Book Reviewer. It’s a chance to share news, recap the past week, take a look ahead, and showcase our new treasures – I mean books!
My Week
Happy (or not so happy) Spring Forward Day! I hope you remembered to set your clocks ahead last night.
I had a busy week both on and off the blog. On the blog, I posted every day and tried to squeeze in enough COYER reviews to meet my goal. (I succeeded – yay!) Off the blog, I spent a lot of time working on music, because today is the first rehearsal for my children’s and youth choruses. I’m excited to see “my kids” again, and get started on this spring’s music!
Even more exciting is that Robin is coming home for spring break! She’s at her grandparents’ house for the weekend, but she arrives here tomorrow night. It will be so good to see her! We have a lot to pack into a short visit, plus I have an indexing project due this week, so I’m not going to be blogging or posting much this week.

There are tons of books by Anne McCaffrey at my library but I’m afraid I haven’t read any (yet !). I’ll be waiting for your review of the runaway heiress, I’m wishing to increase my to-read historical romances list this year. Enjoy Robin’s stay and have a great week !

I love McCaffrey – I have that book in hardcover, but she’s a favorite author so I snapped it up as a Kindle Daily Deal. Can’t take those hardcovers with me on vacation!

The September Society caught my eye–will have to look for that one. So many nice things happening for you in the week ahead–enjoy!

It has been a busy week for you! Yay for Robin being at home for a bit. That’s so exciting! You’ve had some great reviews this week. I already had the Rhys Bowen and Charles Finch on my TBR but I’ve added the Tasha Alexander and Princess Academy books as well. Have a great week!

The Skies of Pern is reasonably good, but not one of her best Pern books. Still, I do enjoy re-reading the whole series now and then!
Anya @ On Starships and Dragonwings
PERN!!!!!!!! Wait, is that a new Pern book or an old one? It’s been so long since I’ve read those books that I don’t remember!
I hope your week is fun and you can fit in a bit of reading in between things still 😉

An old one… McCaffrey is dead so her son is writing now (but I don’t like his books as much, for some reason.) I tend to grab favorite books/authors when they go on sale for Kindle. I reread a lot, so having a take-along library of old favorites is a must.
