Happy St. Patrick’s Day! My wrist continues to heal. We had a minor emergency midweek. Other than that, it hasn’t been a memorable or particularly productive week.

I set up the follow-up appointment for my wrist, but they can’t see me until early this week. Meanwhile, Mr. Bookwyrm has done a great job picking up all the things I can’t do one-handed, including driving, cooking, and doing the dishes. As I suspected, I didn’t get much blogging done, because it’s been frustrating working on the computer.

Mr. Bookworm was on travel all week. My week was much as usual, until I fell on Friday and injured my wrist.

Meetings, decluttering, and contacting contractors about some needed repairs/remodeling took up most of my week. Writing didn’t happen, but I did get some spinning in.

I didn’t watch much of the Superbowl, but caught some of the commercials. We celebrated Valentine’s Day quietly, especially since it was also Ash Wednesday.

What I’ve been doing, reading, watching, and listening to in the past week… on the blog and in real life. Plus the weekly book haul!

I had three more Zoom meetings this week for the fiber guild. (That’s unusual; I rarely have more than one or two per month.) I have another Zoom this afternoon, this time a social with some friends from college. Other than that, I’ve been trying to catch up on a lot of stuff, from email to to-do lists.

In real life: work and lots of meetings. I finished up some requested changes to a work project and turned it in this week. I planned to go to a book club online on Tuesday evening, but I wasn’t feeling well. On Wednesday, I had several meetings on Zoom, and another on Thursday.

It was a relatively quiet week, uneventful except for a dentist appointment, a much-needed hair cut, and a couple of Zoom meetings. We did get a little snow on Monday, which made the woods look beautiful. It was followed by (barely) freezing rain on Tuesday. By barely, I mean it turned to slush rather than creating sheets of ice all over everything. Then the skies cleared and the temperatures plummeted…

I had fun at my fiber guild meeting on Saturday, and bought more yarn than I should have at the sale afterward. And I finally got everything unpacked from our month-long vacation in December, and put most of it away. I still have to find room for the books and the yarn and fiber, but I want to photograph and catalog them first.
