Top Ten Tuesday is a weekly feature/meme now hosted by That Artsy Reader Girl. The meme was originally the brainchild of The Broke and the Bookish. This week’s topic is Books with Nationalities in the Title.

Here are ten books from my TBR list with nationalities in the title. I was pretty strict with this; it had to be the nationality (Scottish, Scots, Scot) rather than the country (Scotland.) And it had to be a nationality or, in the case of historical groups, an cultural-ethnic group that (like a nation) shared a language, a geographic region, and a culture. So “Californian” or “Texan” wouldn’t have counted, but “Cornish” would have, assuming any of my books had had “Cornish” in the title. (There were a few with “Cornish” in the series title, but not in any of the book titles, alas.)

I’m a dyed-in-the-wool Anglophile, so Great Britain and Ireland really dominate this list.

Oh, and I lied. There are eleven books here. What can I say? I’ve never been good at sticking to the “ten books” rule.
