The Sunday Post is hosted by the wonderful Kimba, the Caffeinated Book Reviewer. It’s a chance to share news, recap the past week, take a look ahead, and showcase our new treasures—I mean books!
My Week
Dear reader, the current indexing project is kicking my… well, you know. And I’ve been sick—just a cold, but it’s sapping my energy. So I’m sorry; there was no News & Notes post again this week; it takes too much time to pull them together. There almost wasn’t a Sunday Post, but I had a lot of it done well ahead of time, and just had to tweak it a little this morning.
I’m looking at the crazy week ahead, with work, a cold, and Holy Week services or choir rehearsals most nights. I think that I need to take a break from blogging to try to catch up on work and get healthy. So other than the two posts I already have scheduled, I won’t be posting this week, or visiting much. I’ll be back in a week or so, hopefully in better shape.

What I’m Reading/Watching
Reading: It looks like a lot more than it is; over half of these were started the previous week! I finished Dear Fahrenheit 451 (Annie Spence; ARC), which I started last week. I also finished rereading The Girl Who Knew Too Much (Amanda Quick) before diving into The Other Lady Vanishes (ARC.) I speed-reread Deep Waters and Eye of the Beholder because I was in the mood for fastpaced romantic suspense and couldn’t sleep anyway. Now I’m reading Bellewether (Susanna Kearsley; ARC.)
The Take Control of Your TBR Pile challenge isn’t over until the end of March, but I’ve completed eight books from my TBR pile this month (not counting books I’ve reread and forthcoming ARCs.) So yay! I’ve surpassed my goal of six books.
Listening to: I finished Chitty Chitty Bang Bang, read by David Tennant (reviewed here) and began re-listening to Tamora Pierce’s Immortals quartet; I finished Wild Magic this week. I also listened to episode #54 of Tea and Books which was about reading children’s books and discussed (or at least mentioned) some of my favorites.
Watching: We finished Father Brown season 5 last Sunday and are at a bit of a loss as to what to watch next, but I haven’t had time to watch anything since. (The only reason I’ve read all those books is because I’m not sleeping well.)

I hope you are feeling better soon, Lark! I had a cold earlier in the month that wiped me out. I am glad you are fitting in some reading. I hope your week goes well!

Oh I hope you’re feeling better soon. Sometimes I think those endless colds are worse than something real that’s awful but burns itself out fairly quickly. Sounds like you’ve got quite the busy week ahead so I hope you get plenty of rest. Have a great week!
