Summary: I completed a total of 16 books in March, of which 3 were ARCs, 7 were first-time reads, and 9 were rereads. I posted no reviews of January or February books. I had reviewed one of this month’s rereads prior to 2025.
Challenges
Here’s the breakdown of my reading challenges this year so far:
- Goodreads Challenge: 37/140. I am 3 books ahead of schedule!
- Audiobook challenge: Listened to 5/12; reviewed 3/12
- COYER Out to Lunch challenge: Read 32/25; reviewed 14/25.
- Ilona Andrews series read-along: Read 1; reviewed 1. (I’m behind by about a book and a half, or maybe 2.)
- Library Love Challenge: Read 5/12; reviewed 4/12
- NetGalley & Edelweiss Challenge: Read 7/25; reviewed 4/25 (Reviews includes 2 books read prior to 2025, so I still have 2 ARCs from January plus 2 more from March to review. I didn’t read any ARCs in February.)
- Robin’s Recs: Read 1/6; reviewed 0/6. (I’m partway through three audiobooks, so hopefully I’ll catch up soon.)

Other Goals and Resolutions
Writing: Days I wrote: 0 . Number of words written: 0. I need to do better in April!
Prioritizing reading and writing time over screen time: This did not go as well as I’d like, but I did find more time to read. The political chaos remains stressful, and it’s very hard to avoid either doomscrolling to find out what’s going on, or playing games to escape.
Review more of the books I read: This too did not go as well as I hoped, but I managed to write and post 5 reviews, so that’s something! I hope to catch up a bit in April.
Unpack and reorganize my book collection: This is occurring alongside cataloging my books, so it’s limited to the pace at which I can catalog them. It’s slow (I’m working on a post about why.)
Catalog my books: I’m making progress, but slowly, for reasons I’ll explain in a future post. Books catalogued so far this year: 125.
