WIP Wednesday (for “Work In Progress”) is a meme where we share our current fibery projects. It was started by Nicole @ Book-Wyrm-Knits, who also reviews books at book-wyrm-reads.
Spinning
I’ve plied one skein of the Bambino “Duckle Daisy” yarn; the other is about halfway done. Once both are plied and skeined, I need to wash and hang them to take a little more of the twist out, since I overspun the yarn slightly.
Knitting
My Hermione’s Not-So-Everyday Socks are on hold while I try to finish a secret knitting project. It’s about 2/3 done. After Christmas, I’ll have photos to show you. So instead, here are the socks I’m wearing today, which I knit several years ago. (Project link: Berry Bliss socks on Ravelry.) I’m so glad it’s cool enough to wear my handknit wool socks again!
Do you knit, spin, crochet, or do other arts or craftwork? Tell me about your latest project!

oh the pretties! Soon I will get back to my projects. I have several pairs of hand knits socks but I’m still wearing flip-flops. I’m not quite ready for socks yet. Also soon. Anne – Books of My Heart

Well, it got down into the 50s around here&emdash;the damp and rainy 50s&emdash;so definitely cold enough to justify digging out my wool socks. 🙂 Hope you can get back to your knitting projects soon.

Those socks are the cutest! They look so cozy. I wouldn’t have minded a pair of those while I was trudging around in Manhattan this past week, lol.

Awesome crafting! I love the hands-on especially, but the previously-knit socks are a lot of fun, too. 🙂

Thank you, Nicole! I have about 6 pairs of socks that I have knit. They are such a great project for on-the-go, because they’re small. And I love wearing them!
