Today marks the halfway point in the Clean Sweep ARC Challenge, and I’m not doing well at all. My goal was at least 8 ARCs, and I’ve only finished 3 so far. Granted, I ran into a few snags in the form of an indexing deadline, a concert, and a nasty cold, but still, I’d hoped to be further along. I’ll have to try harder in the second half!
The books I’ve read so far are:
- Until We Touch (Fool’s Gold #15) (Susan Mallery) – 5/07/14
- Murder at Honeychurch Manor (Hannah Dennison) – 5/12/14
- The Late Scholar (Jill Paton Walsh) – 5/15/14
Next up: Either The Immortal Crown (Richelle Meade), Twelfth Night (Deanna Raybourn), or The Beekeeper’s Ball (Susan Wiggs).
I’ve also completed one of the mini-challenges so far, and I’ll try to get to another one this weekend.
You can read the rules and enter the challenge at the links above. Click here to see my goals post.

You can still do this. Do not give up! I have pneumonia so I know about obstacles but we have 15 days.

I’m not giving up! I might have to delay a fairly chunky ARC in favor of some shorter ones, though.
Focus on getting better, my friend… I am praying for you.

Life gets in the way but look at it like this – you’ve read three more than at the start so you’re making progress. 🙂

Good point! And as Kimba points out, we still have 15 days to go. Surely I can read 5 books in 15 days!
