My Goals
- Read 6 books during the Read-a-thon.
- At least 2 of them should not be ARCs.
- At a minimum, write review notes or a rough draft for each book read.
I’ve got plenty of books to choose from. Here are some of the books at the top of my list:
UPDATE (9/27/16) Darn it, this challenge was pretty much a bust for me. I’ve been too much of a mood reader recently, and I just wasn’t able to make myself stick to TBR books the way I’d hoped. It’s weird, because the previous week, I plowed through four or five of them. But I only finished one of the books pictured above, Christmas in Eternity Springs. (In the case of Hamilton: The Revolution, it wasn’t for lack of trying; it was due back to the library before I finished it.)
My Goals: I did actually read more than 6 books during the Read-a-thon; they just weren’t TBR books. Instead, I re-read old favorites, something I tend to binge on when I’m under stress. The one I did read was an ARC. And I didn’t write the reviews for any of them yet. I’m labeling this a FAIL.
Lark
I should do this challenge. But I have a bunch of library books that need reading before they’re due. It’s why I never get around to reading my own books, and why they pile up on my shelves. 🙂

I figure that the library books are part of my TBR Pile… they’re here, in the house, waiting for me to read them. And they’re certainly on my TBR list at Goodreads! So I’m counting them. 🙂 There are three in that collage: Furthermore, A Most Magical Girl, and The Perfect Horse. But I don’t think I’ll get through all three before they’re due back to the library.

OOH Furthermore! I hope you get to read that one during your TBR tackle! I can’t wait to see a review if you do!
And i really like your third goal: at least jot down notes or write a quick review. That’s the hardest thing I struggle with as a blogger: staying on top of my reviews! I have been making a conscious effort to take notes as I go though, so that when I get done with the book I just need to type them up.
Happy reading and goodluck! I hope you get through some of your stack!
