Take Control of Your TBR Pile – March 2015
I’m signing up for the Take Control of Your TBR Pile Challenge, hosted each March by Kimba at The Caffeinated Reviewer. As Kimba says,
For the month of March you ditch the ARC’s and read books in your TBR pile released before March 1, 2015. They can be eBooks, physical books or audiobooks. Let’s clean off those shelves, finish those series and trilogies and have some fun doing it.
This fits in nicely with the COYER Challenge (Clean Out Your E-Reader) which ends on March 20, and also with my goal of reading more books from my TBR shelves and lists. I never know when an index project is going to to take over my life, so I’m setting a modest goal of 10 books for the month of the challenge. If I can get more than that many read, so much the better! However, in keeping with my goal of reading more of what I want, I’m not going to choose my books ahead of time. It will depend on what I’m in the mood for and whether any of my library holds come in. Believe me, I’ve got plenty of books to choose from!
If this sounds like fun – or like something you need to do 😉 – pop over to Kimba’s site and sign up.

Glad you joined and look for the deets on the read-a-thon to help you make that goal 🙂

Will do – thanks, Kimba!

10 seems like a good goal for the month. I agree that it dovetails nicely with COYER. Between the two, I should make a nice dent in my TBR piles. Good luck!

I’m doing this too! I did it last year and didn’t do so well. I’m planning ahead this year so I have high hopes!

I ended up not doing well last year, either, mostly because I was swamped with work and music stuff and had very little energy for reading new-to-me books. Hopefully I’ll do better this year! Good luck – I hope yours goes better this time, too!
