Isn’t it gorgeous? The cover was revealed today on Harkness’s website as well as by USA Today, which also features a 2-page excerpt. The book, third in the All Souls trilogy (after A Discovery of Witches and Shadow of Night) is due for release on July 15, 2014. I can’t wait!

The only thing that could be more exciting than this cover reveal (and excerpt) would be news about the movie. Have you seen the campaign to have Richard Armitage cast as Matthew Clairmont? I keep thinking that Armitage would have been fantastic as Matthew 10 years ago, but might be aging out of the part. Still, they can do a lot with makeup, and he’s a wonderful actor with great presence. I’m also starting to wonder what Benedict Cumberbatch might do with the part. He’s a good enough actor to pull it off. [Especially after I saw the second episode of the 3rd season of Sherlock (don’t ask how!)]
