Bookwyrm's Hoard Graphic: Top 10 Books on my Spring 2024 TBR

Top Ten Tuesday is a weekly feature/meme now hosted by That Artsy Reader Girl. The meme was originally the brainchild of The Broke and the Bookish. This week’s topic is Books on My Spring 2024 TBR.

I also want to finish the following:

and I want to finish my reread of Laurie R. King’s historical mystery series featuring Mary Russell and Sherlock Holmes ( I am almost halfway through.)

Thanks to publisher ARCs, I have already read two of the spring new releases I was most looking forward to, specifically People in Glass Houses (Jayne Ann Krentz) and Mind Games (Nora Roberts.)

What’s on your reading list for spring?

How did I do with my Winter TBR?

Graphic: My Winter 2023-2024 TBR (The Bookwyrm's Hoard)

Read:

  • The Lily of Ludgate Hill by Mimi Matthews
  • Emily Wilde’s Map of the Otherlands by Heather Fawcett
  • The Bright Spot by Jill Shalvis
  • Just Stab Me Now by Jill Bearup
  • The Lantern’s Dance by Laurie R. King – reviewed 1/27/2024
  • Perfect Accord by Celia Lake
  • A Fragile Enchantment by Allison Saft – reading

Still to read:

  • Wild Life by Opal Wei
  • Of Hoaxes and Homicide by Anastasia Hastings
  • The Tainted Cup by Robert Jackson Bennett – now on my Spring TBR list
  • Smoke and Mirrors by M. E. Hilliard – release date shifted to June
  • A Midnight Puzzle by Gigi Pandian – now on my Spring TBR list

I read 7 out of 12. Not too bad, considering my track record for TBR lists. Hopefully, I can fit in a few of the others this spring.

That’s good to know, Anne. I need to dive into Gallant. Not only is the COYER book club discussion coming up, the book is also due back at the library soon.

The Midnight Puzzle is the third book in the series, and I gather that it finally solves the mysteries concerning the disappearance/death of the main character’s mother (which was a thread running through two previous books.) I really enjoyed the second book, as well as the first, so I’m looking forward to reading The Midnight Puzzle.

I loved Legends & Lattes more than Bookshops & Bonedust – which I still enjoyed a lot! I love that fantasy World and I hope you enjoy it too. I’ve also been meaning to read Gallant forever!
