The Sunday Post is hosted by the wonderful Kimba, the Caffeinated Book Reviewer. It’s a chance to share news, recap the past week, take a look ahead, and showcase our new treasures – I mean books!
My Week
So much for staying ahead! I’ve got two posts done for the coming week, but I still need to write a bunch more reviews – for this week and the weeks to come. What happened? Well, I’ve been working on choosing music for the spring concert, which takes a lot of time. Both cars had to go in for repairs – that’s an hour drive (half-hour there and back), twice for one car and once for the other, since we haven’t picked it up yet. And Mr. Bookwyrm took Friday off, so I’ve been spending time with him – which is lovely! He took me to a dinner theater on Valentine’s Day to see a revue of Andrew Lloyd Webber’s music. It was very good; they found some terrific voices for the cast. I love Webber’s music, though there are a few of his musicals I haven’t listened to or seen yet. It was a lovely evening!

New Additions to the Hoard
For Review
Won!
Many thanks to Steph at Fangs, Wands & Fairy Dust – I just finished it today!
Kindle Bargains and Freebies
I’ve read all of these, but wanted to own them for my Kindle library. (Links for the top three go to my reviews; links for the bottom three go to Goodreads.)
I finally broke down and ordered hardcover copies of these beauties for the hoard.
Red Iza
I’m curious of what you will think of Etiquette & Espionage, I read it recently and… Well, I’m not spoiling ! The books by Jim C. Hines look very interesting, I never heard about him so thanks for sharing. Enjoy and have a great week !

I’ve actually read the whole Finishing School series so far, and enjoyed them. (In fact, if you click the covers, it should take you to my review.) Robin (our daughter) hasn’t read them, though, and I like them enough to reread them at some point, so I decided to buy them instead of relying on the library. Similarly with the Hines books and Seraphina – I’ve read them (from the library) and loved them, so I wanted them for the permanent collection.
Katherine @ I Wish I Lived in a Library
Sounds like you had a lovely Valentine’s Day! I’m really looking forward to your review of A Beautiful Blue Death. It’s been sitting on my shelf for ages and so I’m looking forward to your thoughts. And the Quinn!! I’m looking forward to getting to that one. She’s one of my favorites. The Carriger’s were tempting me but I talked myself out of them because my library has them and now I’m regretting it. Have a great week!

Indeed we did! And the Quinn was good – as are the Carrigers. I had already read them (the Carrigers) but Robin hasn’t, and I knew I would want to reread them sometime, so it made sense to grab them on sale.
Lily
Ahh I love all your new book addition! I’m curious about Etiquette and Espionage since I’ve heard really interesting this about the series! Happy reading 🙂

I’ve really enjoyed the series so far – they are a lot of fun. If they’re still on sale, you should grab all three!
