The Sunday Post is hosted by the wonderful Kimba, the Caffeinated Book Reviewer. It’s a chance to share news, recap the past week, take a look ahead, and showcase our new treasures – I mean books!
My Week
It’s really spring! The cherry blossoms are in full bloom, the flowering pears are well past peak, and there are narcissus and daffodils blooming everywhere.
I had a good but busy week. I did get to go see Susanna Kearsley when she was here touring for A Desparate Fortune, which was wonderful. Of course, I bought copy and had her sign it – and I won the door prize, a basket of goodies from Sourcebooks! I’m hoping to write up the event for a post next week, as I didn’t have time this week. But it’s going to be another really busy week, since I’ll be working on not one but two indexes, so we’ll see what I have time to get to. I have a post or two “in the can” that I can pull out if I need to.
The giveaway for Dawn Eastman’s A Fright to the Death is still open, so if you like cozy mysteries, make sure you check it out! She’s got a great guest post on knitting and novel-writing, too.

Cherry Blossoms are starting to come out around here. Our town is FULL of them. They are so pretty when they finally bloom which should be in the next two weeks so less.
Congrats on Winning the door prize, that sounds like a great prize to win 🙂
I hope you have a FANTASTIC week! Happy Reading ox

Cherry blossoms are beautiful – we have a lot down here. And the redwoods are budding; they should flower fully tomorrow or the next day. I love spring!

Indeed it is! Though I’m embarrassed to say I haven’t read much of hers yet – so all the more to look forward to, right?

*drools over the new books*
Not a lot blooming here yet but the temps have warmed up to the 60s and most of the snow is gone.
Have a wonderful week!

Huzzah for the snow finally melting! A friend of mine who lives in MA or NH (I forget which) has been documenting the melting of the last patch of snow on his lawn – photos on FB, with funny commentary. He will not be sorry to see the last of it!
Katherine @ I Wish I Lived in a Library
I love the Kate Carlisle series! I’m a few weeks behind but I always enjoy it. Yay for spring! The dogwoods here are gorgeous though I do wish we had more cherry trees. It’s nice not to be cold! How awesome that you got to meet Susanna Kearsley. Her books are on my TBR. Have a great week!

The weather has been a bit erratic this spring, to say the least! We’ve had hot days, and now it’s pretty cool again.

I think I saw Destined for Doom available this week but decided not to grab it. Great haul! Hope you have a great week!
Check out my Sunday Post

Destined for Doon was an impulse buy. I have the first one (unread) and thought that if I like it, I’ll want to read book 2. I think Amazon has a good strategy with those daily deals – you can’t think about them for too long or they disappear. Works well for them; not so well for my budget!

Ahhh i’m so happy you got to see Susanna Kearsley! That’s super exciting!
I hope you have a fabulous week my friend 🙂
