Book Covers That Make Me Think of Fall

September 30, 2025 Top Ten Tuesday 19

Bookwyrm's Hoard blog graphic: Book Covers that Make Me Think of Fall. The post title is in brush script in a warm golden brown color. It is superimposed over a still-life photograph of two books, a two-tone pottery mug, and a brown glass bottle holding a few stems of dried flowers. The flowers are white and purple. The items stand on a a table covered in a bunched-up golden-brown cloth. Behind the table is a plate-glass window; the scene outside the window is too blurry to make out.

Top Ten Tuesday is a weekly feature/meme now hosted by That Artsy Reader Girl. The meme was originally the brainchild of The Broke and the Bookish. This week’s topic is Book Covers that Give off Fall Vibes.

Most of these books are on my (extremely long) TBR list. I have read the last four, which are marked with an asterisk. Title links go to Goodreads.

In the reverse order in which I added them to Goodreads (most recent first):

Have you read any of these? Would you recommend them? And what are your favorite fall-vibes book covers?

Great cover picks! I like that you included some darker covers too. That feels appropriate for the darker months of the year.

I haven’t read any of these yet, but I’ve heard mixed reviews about Cat Dragon, which makes me sad. I was hoping to love that one but now I’m not sure.

You really knocked it out the park on the visuals here! The whole batch looks incredible together – so many warm browns and oranges! Once Upon an Autumn Eve is new to me, but looks like it’d be worth looking up 🙂
