I was also looking forward to The Even-Handed Booksellers of Edinburgh, by Garth Nix, but I think it has been postponed or possibly cancelled. My calendar says it was due out in August, but the US retailers no longer list it at all, and neither does Blackwell’s in the UK. Waterstone’s still shows it coming in the UK in October, but it isn’t even mentioned on the author’s website, and he already has an adult SF standalone coming out in September. It’s too bad; I was really looking forward to it!

Lucy Foley did an excellent job of channeling Agatha Christie and Miss Marple; I was impressed. And I can’t wait to read the Penrose book!
