Top Ten Tuesday is a weekly feature/meme now hosted by That Artsy Reader Girl. The meme was originally the brainchild of The Broke and the Bookish. This week’s topic is Most Recent Additions to My Bookshelf.

The title says it all: the most recent books added to my collection. Mostly Christmas gifts, either to me or to family members who share my virtual libraries.

Christmas Gifts I Received

Print: The River Has Roots; The Once and Future Queen; The Etymologicon; This Beautiful Day; Spell Songs

Kindle: Slayers of Old; The Late Scholar; The Lilac People; The Silver Ladies of Penny Lane

Audible: The Silmarillion; Revenge of the Tipping Point

The Once and Future Queen hardcover and The Silmarillion audiobook were on my wish list, as were Kindle editions of Slayers of Old and The Late Scholar. Robin gave me The River Has Roots and The Lilac People, both of which they highly recommended.

Bought for myself

Kindle: The Search

Gifts to Mr. Bookwyrm or Robin

Mr. Bookwyrm, Robin, and I share an Audible account, so even though these were gifts to them, they are available to me and thus “on my shelves.” And most are books I will be interested to read.

Audiobooks: Sunward; We the People: A History of the U.S. Constitution; Songs of America; American Gospel; The Power Broker; The Golden Road; The Beast in the Clouds; Remarkably Bright Creatures

Great selection of books! I like that Nora Roberts book and I’m really hoping to read Remarkably Bright Creatures soon. I’ve heard the audio is amazing.
