The Sunday Post is hosted by the wonderful Kimberly, the Caffeinated Reviewer. It’s a chance to share news, recap the past week, take a look ahead, and showcase our new treasures—I mean books!

This week I’m also participating in The Sunday Salon hosted by Deb at Readerbuzz, and Stacking the Shelves hosted by Marlene at Reading Reality.
The Past Week
In real life: Not much progress on the packing, although I did box up some more of the china this week. I also got a few more books cataloged and put in dust jacket protectors. And I did some prep work for my fiber guild’s Tour de Fleece team event in July.
3 Good Things:
- The Flamecraft digital game demo is available for early testers! I downloaded it; I just hope I have time to play it at some point.
- The shower door we ordered arrived. I’ll notify the contractor and schedule the installation.
- Mr. Bookwyrm got the soaker hoses in place and on timers, so the plants and trees will get watered.

What I’ve Been Reading/Watching

Reading: I finished A Bitter Cut (Anna Lee Huber; ARC.) Then I went back to Agnes Aubert’s Mystical Cat Shelter (Heather Fawcett; ARC.)
Listening to: I finished Copper Beach by Jayne Ann Krentz (book reviewed in 2012); I liked it better this time than I did the first time I read it. I went on to listen to the sequel, Dream Eyes (book reviewed in 2013), before starting White Lies, one of Krentz’s Arcane Society novels. All three books are rereads, but my first time on audio. I’m finding that familiar books work better for me when I’m packing things for storage/moving.
Watching: All Creatures Great and Small, Season 6, Episode 1, and a NOVA episode about dogs that communicate via speech buttons. We also finally watched Stephen Colbert’s last show.

Ten Years Ago I Was Reading…
I saw this idea on Lisa Loves Literature, who got it from Musings of a Bookish Kitty (who I also follow.) I published these reviews 10 years ago this week, between June 1 and June 7, 2016.

Anne - Books of My Heart
It’s steady work that gets things done. I feel like I won’t catch up right now. We have a drought and can only water with sprinklers on Tuesday nights 6-10p. One can use a hose and manually spray anytime but evening or early morning are most effective.

We have been watering in the evenings, but now that Mr. Bookwyrm has placed all the soaker hoses and connected them to a timer, we won’t have to!

The title A Fellowship of Librarians and Dragons immediately got my attention… 👀
Thanks for mentioning Flamecraft, I should try the demo too! It looks fun.

That title was what drew me to the series. I have the first book too, but I haven’t read either one yet. I’ve seen some pretty good reviews, though.
I love the art for Flamecraft. I have the deluxe edition (I Kickstartered it) as well as Flamecraft Duals (likewise), but I don’t really have anyone to play with where we currently live; Mr. Bookwyrm likes jigsaw puzzles but isn’t that into board games. After we move, I’ll be able to play it with my sister and Robin. But they’ve played a fair bit, so I need to practice!
Aj @ Read All The Things!
I still want to read Agnes Aubert’s Mystical Cat Shelter. I’m hoping my library gets it so I don’t have to buy it. 🙂
