The Sunday Post is hosted by the wonderful Kimberly at Caffeinated Reviewer. It’s a chance to share news, recap the past week, take a look ahead, and showcase our new treasures—I mean books!

Sometimes I also participate in The Sunday Salon hosted by Deb at Readerbuzz, Stacking the Shelves hosted by Marlene at Reading Reality, and It’s Monday! What Are You Reading (#IMWAYR) hosted by Kathryn at The Book Date.
The Past Week
In real life: The week has been one long blur of packing and sorting. I still have more books to pack, but at this point, the focus has to be getting the house ready for the photos and the official on-sale date. Whatever’s not packed by the 10th will have to wait; we’ll need several days to clean things up and make it sparkle. So instead of books, this weekend I switched to working on all the other stuff that is cluttering up the upstairs. My study needs the most work; most of the remaining stuff elsewhere can be tidied away pretty easily, but it’s going to take a while to clear out the clutter in the study.
We sold the white IKEA bookcases from the living room, and I’m working on getting rid of a office drawer unit in my study. I sent off an armload of hanging clothes to the thrift store yesterday. Little by little, we’re making progress, but we have to pick up the pace. We have two weeks, plus a few days to clean everything before the photos.
I probably won’t be blogging or visiting blogs very much in the next 3-4 weeks. I’m sorry! I’ll try to keep up with the Sunday Post, but that will probably be it. As you can see, I’m a day late with it this week, and I may miss it entirely some weeks. I hope to be more consistent once things settle down a bit… whenever that is!

Ten Years Ago I Was Reading…
I saw this idea on Lisa Loves Literature, who got it from Musings of a Bookish Kitty (whom I also follow.) These are the books I reviewed 10 years ago this week, between 9/20 and 9/27/2016.

Good for you! I admire your hard work. I need to put some focus on this myself.
