The Sunday Post is hosted by the wonderful Kimberly at Caffeinated Reviewer. It’s a chance to share news, recap the past week, take a look ahead, and showcase our new treasures—I mean books!
Sometimes I also participate in The Sunday Salon hosted by Deb at Readerbuzz, Stacking the Shelves hosted by Marlene at Reading Reality, and It’s Monday! What Are You Reading (#IMWAYR) hosted by Kathryn at The Book Date.
The Past Week
In real life: I had an appointment with my rheumatologist—probably my last with him, since we’re moving. We will need to find new primary care doctors and new specialists after we move. And we are dealing with an invasion of ants, seeking higher ground indoors because of all the rain we’ve been getting. I’m freaking out, because they have to be gone before the house goes on sale, and Orkin can’t get here until Thursday. Other than that, we are trying to clear out everything we don’t absolutely need, and make the main living spaces and the outside shine for the photographer. (We’ll still have some stuff in the basement that we will continue to pack, but we need to minimize and tidy that as well.) Mr. Bookwyrm is taking a week off so we can both work on it. The house goes on sale in less than 2 weeks. Yikes!

What I’ve Been Reading/Watching
Reading: I reread Bay of Sighs and Island of Glass by Nora Roberts. Rereading is always comforting for me, and right now, I have little energy for anything new. I did return to reading to The Haunted Librarian (ARC) by Auralee Wallace, but I’m also rereading the Cousins O’Dwyer trilogy by Nora Roberts, beginning with Dark Witch (reviewed 2014.)
Listening to: I finished listening (or rather, re-listening) to the second and third books in Tamora Pierce’s Immortals quartet, Wolf-Speaker and Emperor Mage. Last night, I started The Realms of the Gods (book #4.)

Ten Years Ago I Was Reading… (two-week version)
I saw this idea on Lisa Loves Literature, who got it from Musings of a Bookish Kitty (whom I also follow.) These are the books I reviewed 10 years ago this week, between 9/28 and 10/04/2016.
