The Sunday Post is hosted by the wonderful Kimberly, the Caffeinated Reviewer. It’s a chance to share news, recap the past week, take a look ahead, and showcase our new treasures—I mean books!

The Past Week

In real life: Where did the week go?! I scheduled out next year’s craft socials and committee meetings for the fiber guild groups I’m responsible for, and dealt with some other guild business. I wrote up several reviews, and put away the Halloween decorations but left the fall decorations out. I catalogued and shelved some of my books, and some yarn purchases from last January’s guild event that I hadn’t gotten around to logging. I started trying to keep a journal again, though my history of keeping up with journaling is pretty bad. On Saturday, I attended the monthly fiber guild meeting.

5 Good Things:

  1. The weather has been lovely: sunny most days, and high temperatures in the low 60s, which as far as I’m concerned is just about perfect.
  2. The new Celia Lake book showed up on my Kindle on Friday. Yay!
  3. I’ve made good progress on cataloging and shelving my Arthurian books (both fiction and nonfiction), medieval classics, and books on British myths and legends.
  4. I took two boxes of books to the library for the Friends of the Library booksale (mostly mass market paperbacks that I either no longer want or have replaced with Kindle editions.)
  5. I had a great time at the monthly fiber guild meeting, and a good conversation with two friends afterwards.

What I’ve Been Reading/Watching

Reading: I finished The Curse of Ill-Gotten Gains by Stephanie Laurens, which was very meh. I started The Queen Who Came In From the Cold by S.J. Bennett (ARC) and I continued reading The Late-Night Witches by Auralee Wallace (ARC).

Listening to: I finished Burn For Me by Ilona Andrews, and started the sequel, White Hot.

Watching: Star Trek: The Next Generation, season 5, and Stephen Colbert.

Playing: Wingspan, and my usuals: Wordle, Connections, Strands, Spelling Bee, and Sudoku (all from the NYT.)
